JWT Chip Alternative/Summit racing switch?

I just posted a thread regarding the MEVI and i appreciate everyone's response. It helped alot and i think i'm gunna do it. I still have two remaining questions however and would like to get them cleared up. In the post MDeezy said that i could get a VAFC2 and have the car tuned as oppose to getting a JWT chip. Has anyone heard of this or know anything about it. Secondly is the Summit racing switch a must or just something cool? Thanx again

The VAFC2 will let you manualy adjust the afr and timing I believe as to where the JWT has set paramters.
The RPM switch is need to activate the MEVI to open when it hits the selected rpm range.

But if u use a Vafc2 u dont need an RPM switch ....u can use the v-tec engagment feature to activate the MEVI

But with the VAFC I don't think you have a rev limit extension, which you are really going to want to have. If you wait a little longer the eManage Ultimate should be able to change our rev limit, along with being able to manually adjust af ratios and timing advances. The best of both worlds if you ask me. The only problem is that it is taking some time before greddy works out this problem for our cars, I think we need an input from our crank position sensor to make it work. There is a giant thread in the All Motor forum following a members install and problems if you are interested.

How long before the greddychip will be worked out? And if so, how much of a pain in the a$$ will it be to install and use?

The power from the JWT ECU is found in the timing, not the AFR. A V-AFC cannot adjust timing thus will not do much in the way of power.

MEVI
JWT ECU for the timing advance and extended rev limiter
Summit RPM switch to open the MEVI butterfly valves
