I was just wondering what the speed offset is for a 97 SE with 225/50/16 tires. I heard that it is 2% fast, but I think it is more than 2%. Does anyone know the exact figure?

thats strange since I was doing (speedometer needle between 80 - 90 mph) and the cop clocked me at 86mph...! if anything, I should have been going slower right?

Doesn't anyone use the search function? Put your tire size in this calculator and the tire size you want to go to, and it will give you the difference. The rest of the math you can do yourself...
