i timed the 0-60 to be around 6.7-6.8 sec. Doesnt a stock max achieve 0-60 in the same time??

I have a question you say if you go over 110mph your CEL light comes on? I have been on the freeway and have been at 110+mph a few times and my cel has never came on before......

Yeah I was confused about the 110mph thing too, can someone link me to some info about that? I've never seen a cel come on because of speed.

There's nothing wrong with the car, I think it's the driver

If you dive it like a VW Bug then that's what your going to get, moi

on quicker shifts. It doesn't seem that the clutch grabs right away.

Also, use the optimal shift points, they've done the math and testing for you.

Personally i do not like the sound of the VQ after 6K w/out VI, it just sounds like its dying. And the dyno's prove it with USIM. So keep those shifts at optimal

on most I suppose we went out (me and my friend with the G35) anyways I hit 140 in not that long of a time and I wasnt redlining yet, still going so. I have a MEVI (just installed), Exedy S1, PRCAI, upgraded ECU and thats it not even exhaust.

MEVI is key for good top end, and the ECU doesn't hurt either

You sir, are very wrong. That is the one thing 5MT 4G owners brag about the most: the 1995 5MT Maxima clocking a 6.6 second 0-60 back in 94.

The MT Bible courtesy of standardshift.com (I made that name up...but it's true)
I have an ACT stage 1 and a good bit of experience, believe me my car sounds nothing like that. More like a change of tone only.

I don't understand what you're trying to say man...but my comment of "when you get the hang of driving 5MT" was pointed towards the original poster.

I've been able to pull off 1st-2nd shifts like that guy before - it feels SO right when it happens (I'm sure you know what I mean). It almost feels like you're letting the clutch out too fast/far and you'll grind second, but...ahhh, I can't explain it. It just feels good when it goes perfect.

What sound are you talking about?

I just re-watched the upshifting video, and I see what you mean. I have, however, been able to pull off shifts like that with my 5G clutch. I can't do it all the time though.

maybe O.T.... but knock sensor was mentioned... the KS would show up on a diagnostic computer like a snap on right? because I feel like my car is sluggish but the KS didn't throw when my mechanic scanned it
