I had no warped rotors. Just rusted.

I read posts about overtightening wheel lugs may cause rotor warpage. Everytime I m back from a garage where they remounted any wheel with the air gun, I untighten the wheel nuts and retighten to 80 lb fts, as per spec.

I had the squeeking problem in the rears and fixed it myself by taking some really gritty sandpaper to the rotors to roughen them up.

As for the clunking, I get it too. My local dealership had no idea about the brake cable thing and I didn't have the TSB#, so i just bought a brake hardware kit (which's useless cuz I can just clean the stuff that's already in there, like i did for the fronts).

Also, it's only my right side outside pad that is wearing much faster than any other pad on the rear axle. I'll be re-greasing everything when I get the chance.

Well the clunking noise has changed. It is now much quieter and usually occurs (if it does) around 30mph instead of 10mph. I still havn't gotten a chance to look the car over but will this weekend.

Either way I am not worried about it, I still have 13,000 miles left on my warranty which will last me the better part of a year. If anything comes up because of this it will show itself within that time frame. I think with the weather change it is just a caliper sticking every now and then.
