Parking lights??

Parking lights??

All of a sudden yesterday my parking lights stopped blinking when i arm or disarm my alarm i checked all fuses all are fine any ideas???

the alarm is a viper btw and it was already installed on the car when i bought it anyone have any suggestions as to where i should begin to diagnose this problem??

This has happened to me as well. Most likely a relay that comes with the alarm kit has gone bad. Have you noticed if the slight clicking noise is no longer present in your car when you arm/disarm the alarm?

Your parking lights flash with your alarm? Do you mean the bumper lights? And its probably the alarm itself. Relay or something else possibly.

Exactly what I was thinking, the parking lights (next to headlights) should not blink.

some installers use crappy 3m taps. over time they lose contact. check the parking light wire at the alarm and to where it goes (usually into the drivers kick panel). i think its a red and blue wire.

I was just thinking as JSutter. The actual wires may have lost contact. Check to make sure the alarm wires are stilled tapped into the bumber wires correctly. It's just those lights right?
