O2 sensor cost?

Can someone PLEASE direct me to a website or whoever has the least expensive 02 sensors for a 96 max??? Thanks.. Cheapest I found was $57 for the front.. Do I just need two of these-the same ones? Then the rear is different and more expensive right?? Thanks.

Make sure that they are a quality OE or an OEM part. Don't be cheap with sensors, or it will cost you more money and aggravation in the long run. Courtesy has them for $120 oem.....its the way to go.

You can also try nissanpartscheap.com These are OEM Nissan parts from Moss Nissan in San Diego. The cheapest aftermarket sensors are from 02sensors.com I think. No...thats it below.

Most people get them from the that site. The fronts are cheaper than the rear one, but I don't think you really need to change the rear sensor.

Thanks for the help.. Before I saw a reply to this, I went ahead and bought the front two for $64 each from oxygensensors.com.. OEM replacement, but not Bosch Part number: 250-23104 Quantity: 2.. I may have to do some splicing, but i dunno.. They are 3 wire. All I need is for them to last a year or 2 because I dont plan on having the car longer than that.. Probably go with a 5th gen... Couple more questions for you guys...

Will i need a speacial 02 socket for my wrench when taking out/putting in??

I have had a CEL for about 2 months, got the knock sensor and ects codes, also a auto tranny code (communication lost) or something like that.. Replaced both KS and ECTS and reset CEL.. 2 days later it came back on with only the Auto tranny code.. I think its 1 short blink, and 4 fast ones. Tranny shifts HARD going into 2nd and i really have to smash the pedal down to get it to downshift sometimes.. Rarely, but on occasion, ill floor it and it wont do anything.. It will get stuck in 4th gear and when i slow down it doesnt downshift and when i get back on the gas at say 20mph, its still in 4th and i have no power.. THis has happend 3 times in 1 year and goes away quickly.. ANy thoughts on that??? Thanks for all your help you guys rock.

OH crap!!! I just realized the 1 long and 4 fast blinks mean speed sensor!! I didnt see this in the DIY FAQ.. Is the VSS located on top of the tranny where the engine meets it?? How much is this part?? I lost my Haynes manual!!!

Edit:
Ok found the haynes manual and it clearly says a faulty VSS can cause Tranny driveability problems.. I guess I ansewred my own question.

You may not need a sensor socket. I was able to break the two upstream sensors loose with a 22mm open end wrench no problem. The downstream sensor was a different story. Took me about 20 minutes with the sensor socket working it back and forth to keep from rounding the shoulders off. See if you can break them loose with an open end first before you buy the sensor socket for $10 - $12. Really I don't see why you couldn't just clip the wires and use the box end of the wrench to remove the old ones....the're trash anyway.

So can anyone testify that the VSS is going to give me crazy performance imrovements??? The car has been struggling for about 6 months now and before i figured it was the KS, then the 02 sensors.. Which should be replaced anyway at 116k miles.. But I remember when the car was a lot faster... It was actually my friends dad car from when it was new.. I remember taking it out and tearing **** up.. Not that way today.. Hopefuly the VSS takes it back to the point where i can tear some more **** up..

I have to agree with the previous opinions about getting OEM o2 sensors. I replaced the left one with a cheap 50-60 replacement and 5 months later it went out. Save your time and money, do it right the first time.

I got a price from my local auto parts shop of $95 each for the O2 sensors on the y-pipe. They are Bosch, and its not a bad deal, especially with no shipping charges.

I had free shipping for being over $50. I would assume that there would be some sort of limited warranty on even the OEM/non bosch sensors.. Maybe not..
