Help Decide...

I have 2 options right now:

1. Keep my JL Audio 12'' Subwoofer in an old school MTX box, with 600watt amp, or
2. Sell these things and get some performance upgrades. (Y-Pipe, B-Pipe, and etc.)

The reason I'm asking is because I want to know what you would do if you were in this situation. My sub I barely use, since I get sick of the rattles and etc, and it's extra weight, I haven't been able to chirp my tires ever since I've gotten that thing. I didn't buy this sub, it was in my old 95 max, and I swapped everything into my 97. I would get about $120 for the sub, and around $110 for the amp. That still leaves the box it's bandpass MTX thunderbox, but I don't know if anyone would buy since shipping would be outrageous. Box maybe around $50. So that's around $280 for performance upgrades.

What would you buy/do?

performance upgrades. You'll also be losing needless weight.
