Help from those who torched out old motor mounts

I have already torched out the old rubber mounts because i couldn't get the press to work last night ,
but I am wondering how you guys were able to get the metal ring that the rubber was attached to out of the mount frame. I see a hole in the top, but I don't know if i should try to cut the ring
out or bang it out from one side. Any help? thanks

Ive heard of people using a hack saw. Take apart the saw so you can get the blade inside of the mount. Cut a section of the peice out about an inch big. Then hammer and screw driver it out till the entire section comes out. Be carefull not to cut through the mount peice.
