I have a 97 SE. How do I know if I have a LSD or not? Is there a way to know by looking at the VIN? ALso I'm getting ready to do my clutch should I do my flywheel too or not necessary?

Read the stickies for VIN decoding.

Unless someone swapped in an AE/Canadian tranny, or you have a Canadian Max, no you don't have LSD.

You can do your flywheel if you want, get a lightweight for 'better' performance. You don't need to, though.

If you don't replace your flywheel, it is highly recommended that you resurface your OEM one.

resurfacing is a must, most local shops should do it for about $15, wont take them long at all.
