do you think it would be possible to purchase another driver door window control, the kind with up/down/allthewaydown options, and hook it up to the passenger wires, or is there more to it?

 

No, you need a window modulator for this. A decent alarm installation shop can do this. I think the modulators run $25 to $50 a piece. I think you need special ones to do up as well. you can also do this for the sunroof. I forgot the pricing, but talk to an alarm shop place.

I'm thinking about decking all my windows and sunroof with one touch open and close.

Well worth it to me. my friend drives a benz and it's DAMN nice. Even the back window controls do it.
