unknown noise

although we have a lot of these threads, i need some help with another one.
so i think this stemed from about two months ago when i popped the rear pass wheel up on to the curb in a parking garage. now while decelerating and crusing (sometimes) i have this weird noise coming from the rear end, it has a combination of slowly driving over unpacked snow and popping corn.

now i have no clue what is causing this noise, and no clue where to start trying to figure whats messed up. my first thoughts are either a wheel bearing or hopefully something isn't bent. i dont know how i would check to see if something (axel) is not straight. any one have any ideas?
