h techs and illuminas
h techs and illuminas
hey guys im am upgrading to some tein h techs and tokico illuminas and i have a 95 GLE right now with the stock suspension with 118k on it..are there any other suspension parts in that area that i should replace when i got the parts off and while putting these in?
Definitely strut bearings.
Dust boots and bumpstops too, if you want. The KYB dust boots have integrated bumpstops that are shorter than stock, which lessens the risk of bottoming out. But this is not a wear-and-tear item, so it's not a big deal.
Sway bar end links are also a good idea. They do wear out. Get the Energy Suspension ones.
If you really feel like doing the whole 9 yards, here's the list:
- Strut bearings (www.pinnaclenissan.com)
- New lower control arms (eBay)
- Energy Suspension control arm bushings (www.suspension.com)
- Energy Suspension sway bar bushings (www.suspension.com)
- Energy Suspension sway bar end link bushings (www.suspension.com)
- Inner and outer tie rod ends (anywhere that sells 'em)
- KYB dust boots/bumpstops (tirerack.com)
