SEL light blinking randomly?

SEL light blinking randomly?

my Service Engine Light has been blinking randomly lately

its not a constant blink though.. looks like something is messed up. it will stop for a day or tow then do it again.. but it Never stays on for more than a second or so.

wtf is goin on?

Uhm you got a problem with your car. It giving you a code that points to a problem. Check the codes off the ECU. There instructions in the stickies.

Usually when the light is "flashing" it indicates a rather serious problem if I am not mistaken.

Mine too, buts its no big deal. I bought my car for like 1.5 years now, since i got it the engine light have problem already, sometimes it on and sometimes its off, but most of the time its on. It doesnt harm yur car at all.
It's just because of the ECU, but there sticki where you can fix it. Or buy new ECU!!!

the only reason it would blink, would be if you're misfiring..

He's maybe right, cuz mine never blink constantly, its stays on. Go get yur inspection, see if you pass it. I passed mine. LOL

I had this problem when i first got the car about a month ago...i did a tune-up and it cured it. Hope this helps.
