Recently pulled the mudflaps off my max (looks good), but the resulting look of the underside of the fender openings could be cleaner. For other people who have done this, what was your solution (if any)?

I have seen max's that have a liner strip around the opening, but it looked like a stock item. May be a Home Depot trip...?

You either have mudflaps or a little trim piece oem, the trim piece is what you need where the mudflaps went. I would try a junkyard for the cheapest fix.
