Starting problem - video enclosed.
Hey, i've been having this starting problem. It stutters on startup, and sometimes doesnt start for minutes. I've changed out the crank and cam sensors, and i've added two grounds, one to the starter, and another to the tranny. Still, I have this problem. I'm going to try to ground it with better wire. Will anyone chime in with a possible solution?

By the way, O2's are fine, and i just put in some new NGK Iridiums.

What sounds alarming is that pausing during the cranking. It seems to fire a plug now and then early on the compression stroke causing the slight pauses heard as the starter struggles to turn the motor over.
You've changed both crank sensors (POS & REF) as well as the cam angle sensor? Does the car seem to catch after you release the ignition key? If so, your ignition switch might be on it's way out. There pretty cheap and easy to replace. There also a common failure item on 4th gens.

Horrendous start. The grounding solved my starting issues but my long starts didn't sound like that. You really shouldn't be cranking that long but I understand you have to do what you have to do. Basically, starting is all about fuel, spark, crank. I can hear it cranking although it seems to lose steam, understandably, after about 8 sec. Spark is unlikely since the car seems to purr smoothly after startup and it is unlikely you have a bunch of bad coils/plugs that is needed to start as poorly as that. Fuel is a BIG question mark. I notice that the temp guage is reading cold. Yet when you start, the rpms are <1000. That is abnormal. It should be around 2000 until the engine is warm. Even after you rev, the rpms fall down below 1000. Makes me question the ECTS which will make the ECU idle higher AND feed the car more gas when starting. If you've already replaced this, I would get a fuel guage and put it in between the fuel filter and the FPR. If fuel line is OK, it could still be your FPR. After that prolonged start attempt, I am very surprised that the car isn't backfiring from excess fuel which is normal when you crank for that long.
Mine used to sound exactly like that and it got a little better after adding ground wires then it got back to being worse. I don't know how you did your gorund wires but on mine i had the tranny gound on the bigger bolts(17mm i think). I switched to the 12mm bolts and it started great. Like i said, i'm not sure which bolts you used on the tranny but if you used the large ones, try switching to the smaller ones.
Good luck
