when i have my car in neutral and move the shifter just a little bit to the sides i can feel a little rattling noise, what can it be and how can i check it out?

Mine would do that in 5th gear. I replaced the rubber bushing that flexes with the shifter under the car. I had to order from nissan and now it doesnt rattle in 5th and shifts are tighter. The rubber bushing gets worn out and soft.
