I got a set of these :



which I plan on painting flat black and keeping the clear lens to match my projectors. Will light output suffer dramatically? Does anyone here have pics of their black-out clearance lamps with the light on?

if you plan on blacking out the whole inside, it's definitely only for looks and there will be little light output... only the light comming from the bulb.

 

Damn, that is what I thought. Oh well too late now, I have already started to spray.

 

I'd like to see how they look once you've got them in, it sounds pretty cool.

 

I want to do mine to but dont these melt sooner then the headlights? Can anyone tell me what temperature you turned the oven to and how long you put them in?
