coilovers are much more rough than springs, but the performance is better, if you are just looking for a drop, and still have a decent ride, i would try the illumina struts, and h&r springs

My best guess on prices. It has been a long while since I did a lot of this stuff:

SUSPENSION:

H&R springs: $200
Tokiko Illumina Shocks $550
Camber bolts $25
Install plus alignment: $300
Strut tower bars. $250
Rear stablizer bar. $200
Lower Tie bar plus install $300
Subframe connectors plus install: $600
Proper Forged Wheels: $1000+
Proper Tires. $500+
Control arm bushings plus install. $200

BRAKES -- with stock calipers:

Stainless steel brake lines: $150
Slotted brake rotors: $400
Pads: $150
Installing above parts: $300
High temp paint for stock calipers: $50

MANUAL TRANS.

Aftermarket clutch and install: $800
Short throw shifter: $200
Shifter bushing: $100

POWER:

ECU: $600
Y-pipe + cat-back + install: $600

Once you start modding, you won't want to stop.
Be prepared to spend around $7,000 for suspension, brakes, power, etc.
