Take the cup holder out of the center console. After removal you will see the working part of the E-brake handle. There will be an adjustment nut that you will see which will allow you to adjust the cable tension. I hope this will help.

Do you even need to take the cupholder out to adjust? If you have the oem parking brake boot, just undo the snaps and adjust the parking brake!!

you dont need to take the cup holder to adjust. just open up the ebrake boot up...make sure you pull the ebrake up and there is a screw there so tighten a bit and test out the ebrake to fit your needs.

I think you adjust so that 7-8 clicks on the brake handle tighten the rear brakes.

is it natural or necessary to adjust the ebrake after doing the rear brakes??

i notice it being harder to grip (probably haven't bedded in completely) and that i have to pull it up higher.
