need some help w/ AC

today i wanted to use my AC for the first time after winter.......and guess what, i doesn't work. i put my climate control on AUTO and temp. to 65 and there is no indication of working AC. no compressor noise, RPMs don't go up. What can be the problem? i checked relays and fuses and they seem to be fine

You need to determime if the compressor clutch is activating or not. When you set controls for ac on is just the outside ring of the ac pulley spinning or is the entire front of the compressor spinning as is normal for an engaged clutch?
