1) What is the total cost of this swap? (labor + parts)
2) Is there a shop I can drop the car off and the shop will get all the parts for me?
3) How long does it take?

My transmission is slipping, I have been quoted $1800 for a rebuild, 900 for purchase and install of a LSD transsmision.

Just need some answers for my 3rd option. Thanks.

 

worst case maybe like 1500 in parts (assuming open diff and reman trans) and at least 700-800 in labor.

 

damn i want my converted to a 5spd. i wish i had the money

 

search around for parts check some junk yards, and do it yourself. It might take time doing it but it's worth it. That $$$ that you spent on labor can possible go to your parts for the swap or seomthing else.
