He has Cefiro's, his clearance light is turned on and the "city light" (a single little LED or something) is turned on inside the headlight. It's basically more of a glow, it doesn't put out any light...just looks nice when the headlights are off.

Well I'm not really a fan of the cefiros honestly, but not too bad.. Any fitment issues? The pics make it look as if thers a few tiny gaps.

Personally I would've gone with the CE glass housings, but thats my opinion.

Cefiro "City Lights" : Where to Wire up?

ManualMaxima - The Cefiro "city lights" do come with the package but Sloppy is having trouble deciding exactly how to wire them. Sloppy's -->

Should Sloppy wire it as a "parking light" or is it more appropriate to wire it from the main headlamp harness?

Thank you MM or any other .Orger that might be able to assist. -Sloppy

not exactly sure where to wire it but. city lights remain on as long as the car is running/in the On or ACC position?

If thats the case, then wiring up the city lights to what ever gets power once the key is in the ON/ACC position.

Just a thought,

Those are all LEDs, no 1157/56 bulbs. It is a custom LED setup. He ran out of leds but he will fix that soon.

we wired them up on the parking light. the cefiro city lights only have 2 leds and the corners have 3..going to put 4 to see how much brighter it gets but waiting for the other set of leds to come in. my friend and i will be doing the otherside friday hopefully when the other leds come in =]

you have to use a small piece of the circuit board and cut it small enough for the leds and wire them up.

i dont understand why you'd need circuit board?
i figured i'd just drill a hold and epoxy the led in there and run the wires outside the housing i guess just to my parking light wires. if i really wanted them independent of any other light i guess i could wire a switch up inside the cabin.

i dont remember. it was in a small package of leds. the ones on the city lights are like almost 6000k in color when you see it in person. pretty damn bright for 2 leds. the dome light ones are blue. lights up alot for only being 9leds.

ohhh dude, i was talking about the city lights on the headlights not the dome light.
btw, metalmaxima was selling super bright led dome lights not too long ago that are similar to that. i was gonna pick one up but just never did.

yea i was talking about the city lights...they are like 6000k color. u use a very small circuit board to fit in the wedge socket.

metalmaxima's leds dont look that bright and he was using like 25 of those suckers lol. If my LEDs were white it would be alot brighter. I have blue ones on them. I can shave the head of the LED to make the light shine out more.
