Hit Auto, turn it down to 65 degrees. Shut it off.

You don't need to turn the system on to adjust the temp.
You can also just hit the mode button until the upper vents are displayed. That way, no fan runs and the air is directed upwards through the vents. Put the temp down as low as it goes (65) and you'll get whatever air is forced into the system from the HVAC intake.
A/C is always a nice alternative on warm days.

i know what you are talking about and all you can really do is put the climate control to a setting where it doesn’t go on feet. Put it on just your head and see if it works since it did for me! The fan is in the off position remember but you can control the opening and closing of the vents.

Of the 3 small buttons on the lower part of the climate control panel, hit the one furtheset to the right. THe button has an arrow circulating in the car instead of the arrow coming from the engine. This will stop the heat from coming in the footwell period. I get the hot feet too...(LOL)

Keep your air at cool instead of warm. And flick your switch from this "foot well" off.

Click a switch, it will blow in air, if it is cool enough it brings in good air, as long as you are driving, also dependant on the weather. Unfortunately that is not the case in San Antonio.
