.4mm gap spark plug ok??

I just bought denso iridium iK16 0.40 mm gapped spark plugs for my 96 max. On Denso website it says for 95-96 max to use iK20 which is gapped to .44 mm, and for 98-99 max use the ik16, which is the ones i bought.

I dont think using the .4mm in my car instead of the prescribed .44 mm gap would cause any trouble. How about you guys???

Replaced my Plats. with Denso about a year ago. No need to gap the plugs most plugs are such of good today gapping is a thing of the past. BTW get a piece of 3/4 rubber hose about 12" long, can get at your local parts store. This will help thread the plug in and out of the block. Sometimes those spark plug wrenchs with the rubber gasket can be a PITA.
