$140 for a y pipe install?

Is $140 for labor only good for the y pipe swap and o2 sensor install? of course i have purchased the y pipe already but i need to buy a new o2 sensor which is like $50 more right? Is any welding involved? Should i try to do it myself or is it not even worth it messing with the rusted bolts and re threadding new screws?

also, the shop wont install the straight b pipe so how hard is that to do myself?

I don't believe any welding would be involved with a Y-pipe installment or an o2 sensor, it would save a LOT of money if u did it urself, but make sure there is someone there to do it with u who knows what they're doing if u have no clue... its always good to figure out things with ur own two hands, who knows, it might open a doorway for u to get some extra cash...

but I think $140 is about right for labor if ur doing a y-pipe install and o2 sensor

LOL, your best bet is to go to walmart and buy a tool set/ and 2 jacks if u dont have any.....Go under your damn car and literally, untighten the bolts that are holding up your ypipe..Why pay 140 for them to jack up your car to directly bolt on your new y-pipe?

^as long as they are good, yes you can...make sure u spray them things down, cause the last thing you want is your o2 to break....
lol...Very true. I remember when I tried to install my pipes, and my cat broke

I went to wallys to buy a jack...The jack couldn't get up higher then 6inch. I could barley get under my car.
So 2 weeks later

I paid 140 to install it...

i think some car shops let you rent their lift thingy. I rented this one place for $20, to install my coilovers. I think is safer, faster and cheaper.

I'm planning to get y-pipe too, and do i have to buy a new o2 sensor?

i think half the fun of modding comes from installing the part yourself.
