P0340 and P0301

The other day I went to my car and tired to start it, it cranked and cranked and cranked without even the slightest hint of starting. I let it sit for awhile and then cranked agfian and it started rigth up but was throwing P0340, Camshaft position sensor. Went to the dealership, had them overnight me a new one and in the mean time I've been getting numerous P0301 codes, Cylinder 1 missfire. I figured it was just cause my sensor was going bad so I tried to take it pretty easy and just wait till the part comes in. Well, it came in today, I swapped sensors right there in the dealership parking lot and drove off. Car is worse than ever, tons of missfres, all cylinder 1, and its acting super sluggish. When I got home I noticed that when I had the shop that was fixing my car for its previous problems do an oil change for they put WAY too much oil in. Does anyone know if this could be causing my problems? I'm going to go out and drain a bunch of oil out in a minute or 2 (next time a big cloud covers this evil sun) and see if that helps, but I'm getting super fed up with this car.

CLIFFS: Car wouldn't start then did, got camshaft POS code, drove got missfires in Cylinder 1, changed to brand spankin new cam sensor, still missfiring. Discovered way too much oil in oil pan, could this be causing the problems?
