The headlight lenses are all pitted from highway drivin of the previous owner and don't light up the road well at night. I want to fix this problem but i dont want to buy a whole new headlight assembly. Can I just buy a headlight lens? Is there a repair kit that will fill in the pits or can i do it myself? Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks,
Pat

when you say pitted, does it look all fogged up and not clear? that's the same problem I have. I haven't had a chance to do it yet, but there's this plastic polish that might help made by Novus. It's a two step treatment. It clears up the plastic rear windows on the back of Miatas...

I have tried everything, no good. The only way is to replace the housing. You can not just replace the glass. Try e-bay, they have auction for aftermarket headlight housing for soemwhere around $ 70.00 each. I bought both sides and change them. It's real easy.
