BEN's rear strut mounts

I have had these installed over a year. However, now there is a lot of squeaking coming from it. It seems the metal plate is rubbing with the car. Has anyone else experienced this? What do i do?

Another thing...

Did you use a new gasket between the mounts and the car. The OEM ones are pretty small, and thin. I used some gasket material on mine.

Make sure the mounting hole is centered with the strut as per the installation instructions. Find some gasket material to use between the mount and the fender well if you aren't using anything or are using the OEM gasket ring. You want something that completely covers the mount.

I really dont think the mounts are the issue, although I do agree with putting in healthy gaskets for good measure.

^^^ It is not the top of the mounts.

It is a bushing rubbing the shock piston.

I had squeeking with one side. I went to autozone and got a sheet of gasket material (~$7) and cut out the gasket. Squeek gone!
