sorry if this is a dumb question, but my maxima broke down a few weeks ago after getting new axels installed (car won't move) do you think the axels could be the problem and getting new ones would fix it, or do you think the tranny is messed up. thanks for any help

 

what exactly is it not working? not shifting into gear? could either be bad clutch, tranny, master clutch cylinder, etc...

 

will the tranmission go into gear?
does the speedo go up but the car stay still?
are there any leaks?

 

the car doesn't go into gear. i can shift into all the gears but it won't go anywhere. when going back into park it makes a weird noise. if its in drive and i hit the gas the mph goes and stuff. i think the shop i got the axles from used remanufactured ones.
