There are a bunch of them, but Bomz is the most popular.

Is there a difference in the performance? All i want is the piping, and i'm gonna buy a K&N Filter...Is the part # in the stickies correct for the filter?

O yeah, and does anyone know if the Boms or no name brand intakes come with the trace thing that helps you cut out the hole?

lol yeah i forgot wat it was called, its something to help see where the hole is to be cut and how big the hole needs to be in order for the piping to sit inside by the fender

ebay cai is fine.....i use only the midpipe.....
one thing thats odd is the midpipe on both pics (including my midpipe) has an extra outlet that is sealed with some rubber.....it looks hella ugly and is pointless, but meh

Lol, do you mean instructions? If so, they are in the How-To Stickies.

I think that outlet is for the IAT, they should include a rubber grommet if that hole isn't used.

template.
dude, i just bought a bomz short ram from that seller, "bestcarpart", that "99grnmaxgxe" gave you the link for above, and man was it ghetto. it didn't include a MAF adapter which i'm gonna ask them for before i give them any feed back. the breather hose they supplied was a 1/4" inner diameter when we require 5/8" (i think). the one rubber coupling doesn't match the silicone coupling. and a worm clamp was missing. the pipe looks nice on the outside but the inside could use some cleaning & polishing as they leave it looking fairly rough. and there is no hole for the IAT sensor. GHETTO!!! so i thought about returning this crap, but i only get refunded 85% of the $25 i paid for the intake, which does not include the $20 for shipping and taxes that i also paid. if you go the cheap route, keep these things in mind. i'm gonna still use the mid pipe after i clean it up and i'm thowing a JWT POP on it. I'm hoping to dyno both this set up and my real injen (no ebay crap here) at Stillens bash next month.

damn that's wack. But when you buy an intake, i think you're supposed to buy the maf adapter separately. Hmm that makes me think twice about buying a cheap ebay intake....any others have experience?

in the auction it specifically stated "This Combo Include - MAF sensor adapter (This will only be included if your car needs one for installation)", and they gave my this 2 inch piece of metal as a bracket with one screw hole, WTF!!!

PRCAI FTW.. and nothing touches it. Go CCAI (Cattmans version), preactically the same thing and its still less than the Injen.. seriously I rocked the Injen before the PRCAI and yeahhhh.. no.

go with the no name brand. It comes with everything but the breather hose and the template. I just used the stock breather hoses and for the template I found the instructions online and eye balled it.

And to think, I paid $250 for my CAI back in '98 when they first came out...and that didn't include the air filter.

I honestly don't remember; however, it was the only CAI available at the time.
