URGENT HELP NEEDED (Overheating) !

Hi; PLEASE HELP
I am having an overheating problem and the description is as follows:
Everything is alright except when I accelerate, when the engine starts to overheat but if keep a steady speed the temperature starts to drop down after a while, the same drop of temp occurs if I stop the car and keep the engine idle.

PLEASE, WHAT IS HAPPENING?

are you throwing any codes?
Does you car warm up very fast? Its possible your thermostat is stuck closed.

Just a small tip, putting the heat on (full heat) at full blast can help to keep the temp down when driving.

My car does not warm up very fast, it warms up normally.
and the radiator is new but still I notice that the water in the reservoir goes down every 2 or 3 days (I drive every day about 200 miles).

BTW: when the engin is very hot I noticed that the reserv is topped, but after the engin goes back to normal temp the reserv goes to normal level too.!!!!!!!

Or you have a head gasket leak blowing exhaust into your radiator...

New radiator...
Both fans are turning ON when the temp passes the mid-point on the gauge?
If so, it must be coolant flow, and that means thermostat.
Your symptoms fit this. There is a small hole in the stat, so when you're driving slowly or idling, enough coolant is passing through to give some cooling effect. But at higher engine output that small hole can't cope so up goes the temp.
Waxstats fail in the CLOSED position. I preferred the older alcohol stats because they fail in the OPEN position.

One more thing: when the car is stopped everything is alright, and I mean everything even the heating and cooling of the engin, it is completely normal (i.e. engin starts heating up, fans start to work, engin starts cooloing down very normaly and within normal limits !!!!)

I keep on remebering points, but I think this is the last one: when I accelerate, as I posted earlier the engine starts to overheat but when I release the gas pedal with the gear still invoked (the gearbox is not automatic) you can watch the temperature indicator going down slowly.

and somtimes when I accelerate it goes way below normal temp
