Headlight question.
Headlight question.
Ok guys, so here's the deal.....I really don't know much about Nissan or my Maxima yet, but im sure this isn't supposed to happen. When i turn my headlights on, the light on the guage cluster saying the brights are on is on....whether they are on bright or not, the light in the guage cluster is always on.....what's the deal here?
No, i've only had the car for almost a month and haven't done any mods to it yet....what will i need to do to go about fixing the problem?
off topic: partyraider09...u live in Dalton, Ga.? i'm truly sorry man! i've been there and i'm not sure you could pay me to live there

Ok another question i have....i didn't wanna ***** up the board by making a whole new thread so here goes. When i turn, there is popping coming from the front end....i'm sure it's the CV joints, but my question is will it hurt anything if this is happening? what are the consequences of this going on for so long? i will replace them, but i'm kinda tight on money right now and need to know if it's dangerous or w/e
thanks
thanks
the joint could seize or cause the driveshaft to pop out. I drove on mine for several months until it got noticably worse. By the time I changed it I had to change my wheel bearing too because it also crapped out on me. personally, I suggest you fix it as it costs around 100.00 to have it rebuilt at a shop. small investment for a vital component. The only reason I waited on mine is because it was not my daily driver so I only drove it maybe once every couple weeks.
Check your wiring harness, it may have a loose connection or like someone else said it could be starting to melt. Also, if I remember correctly I think this is a sign of a blown bulb, but I may be thinking of another car.
95 maxima i got that same popping noise, funny thing is mine only comes from the passenger side. I been puttin it off for a couple of months, but hopefully imma get it fixed soon. Mine happened after i lowered my car, i dont know if there is any relation to that
http://www.raxles.com/....thats where i am going to get my new cvs.....the popping is all related to it, check it out. I am just going to go ahead and get these and nice impact wrench and have some fun with it!
