Where are o2 sensors located on 99 Cali Specs?

I had the car jacked up while installing new suspension and i noticed that i didnt have any o2 sensors after my cat. I have a test pipe and aftermarket catback so i figured the only way the only way i passed my inspection was because i still have factory ypipe. Now my question is, are all the o2 sensors located on the factory ypipe? If I removed the factory ypipe for an aftermarket, will it be impossible to pass inspections? Ive read the o2 simulators only work for sensors after the cat.

I have a 99 max and I do have an o2 sensor after the cat. You have two o2 sensors on the ypipe and 1 after the cat.

So does that mean its impossible to delete our cats and be able to pass inspections? Since, o2 simulators only work for sensors after the cat.

that is interesting. There is always a pre-cat o2 and a post-cat 02. no matter what.

huh? I thought the 99's hold 4 o2 sensors, 2 before and 2 after the cat. I know mines does cause I had to get them changed last year.

Here is more than enough information about the 99 CA/NLEV Maxima exhaust and no there is not an O2 behind the main Cat...

This pic only shows the three O2 sensors which are directly connected to what is called the y-pipe and the cats:

There is also another O2 sensor above the front precat in the actual manifold (the one with the blue wire) pictured here:

You can reference more exhaust information here at Greg's site:

Can someone link me to a site where i can purchase o2 simulators for the precats? When i google it, some sites consider precats primary and others consider it secondary.

hate to redig an old thread but when i put in the 5 speed fed spec ecu i can just unplug the two o2 sensors that are after the cat and i guess the two i keep are the ones right after the heads ? btw im putting in a fed spec warpspeed pipe.....

and to double chek the only parts for the cali to fed swap is the y pipe, lower intake and cpu ?
