Finally installed coilovers - pics

Tein basic dampers that were sitting under my bed for a year which I bought for my old max. Finally installed them on my new 99 SE-L. Right now they are set @ about 3/4 the way down.

I like it. Nice... Is your max a stick? black leather interior? ABS? heated seats? If so, you have the ultimate car!!

What's next?

are those 15" or 16"? How do the MAX fare against speedbumps now? a front lip and some sideskirts would look sick on that max with that drop

They are 16". Being that low, it would be extreeeeemly difficult to drive with a front lip and sideskirts. It would look good though.

16" stock titanium SE-L rims.
I already have a lip & sideskirts, but I'm gonna have to raise it a bit to put them on. Won't matter though b/c when I install the bodykit, I'll slap on my 19's anyways, so it will still look badass.
Yes, 5 spd SE-L, rare color, black leather, ABS. (no heat in seating). I wish I had TCS.
Ride is a touch bouncy, NOT at all bumpy. Very tolerable considering the amount of the drop. Overall, I'm very pleased.

Cool. Are those touring tires? Maybe upgrade tires to maximize your coilovers.

Does your mudflap or anything else scrape?

I picked em up for $800 shipped through Southwest Autoworks a while back. Soon I'll have the 19's on and it should look kinda sick. Mudflaps scrape on occasion leaving parking lots. My old max in my sig pic got totalled by some young kid driving a SUV. I wasn't at fault. I'll put it this way, I pickup up the 99 SE-L just with insurance money from my totalled 95 SE. No money outta pocket.

Meh, I know you wont keep it that low, but its way to low. Have fun ruining tie rods, steering rack, and axles for the time being. Lower is not better.

I got my front dropped lower than yurrs but my rear is high though, cuz i like the slanted look. I think yur car look good, just raise the back up around an inch, then it would look HELLA nice. Just drive slower when you drop it.

Looks good man. That drop is hittin'. A little too much for my taste with the 16 in stockers on there. I know you are having some difficulty driving withe undercarriage hitting stuff. With the 19 in's you should be fine with that drop. Overall, it looks real good. But I think I have the real drop. All I needed was to put some fat girls in the back seat and I got a rear end drop. Yes, that note on the window is a for sale sign. I am selling the Max with the fat girls in it.

That Drop is sick. The Car looks good. Don't rush your projects. You would get bored and want to do stupid things that makes your car look ugly.
