!! HELP Car Vibration 80+> HELP!!!

Aight, I know when your steering wheel vibrates you need an alignment
I know if waters coming out of your exhaust you have a blown head gasket..

One thing I dont know is why my car starts vibrating after 80mph..I can feel the vibration from under my heel..I was wondering what It could be? Low fluid(which one?), alighment, bad wheel bearing? what can it be?

If you've experienced this problem and fixed it, help me out...What can It be?

Vibration at speed is either one or more tires out of balance or a tire that's not perfectly round. Have tires all rebalanced first, if problem persists then a tire isn't round. Front end out of alignment is usually evident as the car pulling quickly away from center when the steering wheel is released or uneven front tire wear.

Maybe you have chunk of tread that cracked off the tire. I had that happen once and no amount of balancing or aligning would fix it. I finally replaced the one bad tire and it hasn't vibrated ever since.

Check your tire pressures first.

well i hate to do this but im looking for a new car and i cant make a new thread......
(off topic srry)

Is buying a 1998 GLE @ 129,890 miles a good idea?

Assuming
-been in no crashes
-no major mechanical problems

If i were to buy it,

i would get it checked out by a buddy of mine who is ase certified and master tech.

If my buddy says its a good car should i still purchase it or should i hold back and buy a car at lower mileage?

warped rotors would vibrate only when brake pedal applied.
if its not tires or balancing, vibration at 80+ could be any loose/worn front suspension/wheel items: tie rods, ball joints, wheel bearings. how is your steering feel (well, relative to a 'normal' maxima anyway)?...

If you have a 95 Max, you probably have worn tie rods. After you do all the basics, I would replace the outer tie rods. For good measure, you could do the sway bar end links. I would only recommend that if the car pulls to one side, then pulls to the other.

In other words it kinds follows the road and pulls hard to whatever side it likes.

But general shaking seems like worn outter tie rods.

How many miles?

Don't get an alignment. Most aligment shops HIGH SPEED machine only goes up to 60mph, so doing this will not take care of your 80+ mph problem. I would suggest that you just drive the speed limit

Even having the tire pressure different in every wheel could cause a little bit of vibration. Just remember that when you're harder on the car, little problems become more evident.

i just had to buy a new steel rim from hitting a curb hard during the winter. up to 65-70 mph the steering wheel wouldn't vibrate too much but once i hit that speed it would vibrate back and forth pretty good and also the stick shift would shake. My rim was bent so i went and got a new one and i can get up to my speed limiter 115mph and no shake
