Pictures of how 4th gens in the Bahamas are kept.

I was in the Bahamas not to long ago and there were quite a few 4th gens but in not so great of shape such as this one. A lot of them had a 97-99 front end with 95-96 rear. Maybe the conversion in popular down there. Also a reminder to take care of your maxima and not have it look like ****!! Just thought I'd share...

I see alot of Shi**y Maxima's here are well. You dont have to travel to the Bahamas to prove that one. Just take a drive around here ...good find I guess

Personally I think having lights hanging by the cord is classy... But hey, if you don't it is fine by me.

When I went to the bahamas a year ago, I saw a lot of 97-99 front converted 4G's as well. It seems to be really popular down there. Maybe something to do with importing? None of the cars there are particularly well taken care of.
I did see one skyline, however, it was an r32 and was beat to hell. Oh well, still a skyline.

I'm not surprised it looks that way. They drive like a bunch of high monkeys down there. I rode a mopad around the island and almost got hit like 15 times and they didnt care they just kept on going. Almost worst than NY.

I don't know if you mean put there aftermarket or what, but I think I remember seeing those rims on a Skyline GTS-T on autopia.org, and I'm pretty sure his are stock. I'm going to go search that site now for it.
You may call these people lucky for having the ability to import skylines, but I honestly don't know where they'd take advantage of the driving. At least on the island I went to (I can't remember the name now), there were hardly any roads that would have taken advantage of the skyline's abilities.

edit: yea, the skyline on autopia from the UK has the same rims on his car, and I don't believe that they are specifically from a 240sx. I'm pretty sure they came stock on that car, to the best of his knowledge.

edit again: I'm surprised that you didn't comment on the amount of 4G's riding on dubs as well down there. That was another popular fashion on the island I visited

Again, I don't think those wheels are specific to 240sx's. Look at my post.

As BigLou93SE they are stock and came on the GTS models not the GTR.

I saw a lot of them on chrome too. I was going to make a negative comment on it but I may have offended some people in here.

I was just in the Bahamas a few months ago. Saw pretty much the same thing. Thought it really odd how they all had some sort of mod like clear corners, rims, tailights, but were beaten to hell. This went for all cars not just the Maximas.

The fact of the matter is that in the its hard as hell to import parts to the Bahamas. When something is broken ya gatta find a way to patch it up alot of the time. and actually as a precentage, alot of the cars over here are pretty ok. Just that they wouldnt be in the tourist visited areas a whole lot. But as for me i have an 02 SE on 18's its in fair condition... for the Bahamas that is. ;(

alot of times they ship junked cars from accidents etc. to other countries.. becuase they can fix it and ship it without going through any dmv etc... that way no record of accidents etc.. and people there get the cars for cheap.. and the shipper gets good money.. everybody is happy.. I see this happening with alot of those hummers (h2) , v8 s-class, v8 Lexus.. people buy them cheap here cause of the gas prices.. then ship them to dubai and stuff and those people spend good money for these cars.. and everybody wins.. except the poor sap who originally bought the car...

A friend sold his car (h2) and this happened... thats why i say this and we were talking to the guy who ships them...
