Are 4th gen & 5th gen SPRINGS interchangeable?

Are 4th gen & 5th gen SPRINGS interchangeable?

Can anyone answer this...I'm wondering if springs meant for an '01 work on my '95?

Appreciate your input...

sure they will fit but not like they should. the rear uppers have a differnt and larger mount, and the front uppers have flat wound spring. not to mention your car would be higher than anything else on the road. why do you want to do this?

check the for sale listings there are a lot of 4th gen lowering spring sets for sale. dont play McGuyver with your suspension.

Only reason I was asking was that I once read that there was one version of Canuck Motorsports springs for 4th/5th gens. There was a fellow Canadian selling a brand new set for an '01, hence my question. However, I received an email from the manufacturer saying the springs are indeed different. So it's a no-go. Thanks to the responders...I like the McGiver comment, though I couldn't imagine stuffing paper-clips in there to make it fit
