AC/Heat only works on "4"

Hey guys,

Its been a while, actually a long long while. Anyways, I have a question maybe someone can help me with. On my 95 SE, my air will not work unless its on "level 4", meaning if my air **** is turned to 1,2, or 3, its like its not on at all. But if I crank it to "4" it comes on full blast. Does anyone have any ideas as to where my problem is? I dont like to have to blast the air just to have it on at all! Thanks for the help! -Steve

you need to replace your "Blower Motor Resistor"

its roughly ~$40 new from the dealer.

it is located under your glove box. to replace it you just take the electrical plug off and remove the 2 screws holding it in. it will slide out, then just put the new one in, replace the screws and the plug and enjoy.

It is also a sign that your clutch is starting to go bad IIRC...

What? Please explain what the clutch of my car and the Blower Motor Resistor have in common? What is the correlation? Please help me understand the connection between the two. Thanks, Steve
