Temp effect on auto tranny efficiency

I'll throw some technical question out there --
How does temperature affect the mechanical efficiency of the auto transmission when it is operating in viscous mode at lower RPMs?
Automotive fluids tend to lose their viscosity as they get hotter. And since it is a viscous coupling that is used in the torque converter, does viscosity loss due to ambient temperature reduce mechanical efficiency --
