I had a 1995 GLE auto prior to my 1998 SE 5Spd. By holding the lock button on the factory remote, the alarm would go off or panic. My 1998 doesn't do it. I tested to make sure the 1998 is wired for some sort of alarm by trying to unlock the car by reaching through the window and it went off.

The question ... do 98's have the panic feature or is mine just messed up? It is really hard to find my car in UGA when there are 500 other 4th gens and no panic feature.

 

on mine i have a 4th button on the bottem right. i dunno if you do but thats my panic.
