you can replace the bulbs in the corners without pulling out the whole assembly, but it's a pain in the ****. and yes, you have to twist the bulb socket a quarter turn. it's simple.

there is a clip holding the corner lights. You need to locate it(it's on the bottom part of the corner light, its like a ball type clip) and use a flathead screw driver to push it out(some presure required)

I changed them w/o taking the whole corner light out, just do what Sook said, turn the socket out and replace the bulb.

Yeah nothing needs to come out to change bulbs....turn the socket and pull. The whole thing comes out. If you mean you want to take the actual corner lens out then yes you need to unscrew the top screw and pull hard.

Oh yeah, when you replace it, make sure that it's amber! The clear ones are ugly.

Are you guys serious...? you acutally just stuck your hand and pulled out the socket..i can't for the life of me get to it. I had to take out the entire corner light assembly to replace the bulb.

jeez man, just take the whole thing out

seriously, i did the same thing the first time i changed them. i spent an hour trying to do it without having to remove the whole thing. i decided to remove them and was done in 10. its not worth screwing with.
