Help! What does this engine check problem mean??? Daniel B?

Hey guys, driving down the road last night and right after I set my cruise control, which I hardly ever use, the engine check light came on. Well today I went and checked and it appears I get the code 0503 which means, "Front Right Heated O2 sensor." Can anyone give me info about this problem? I have no clue how serious it is or anything. Please help!
