Which tool for Oil Pressure Sender unit install?

It seems that a regular socket does not work.

I haven't had to mess with one on the max before, but I'm pretty sure Ive seen a special socket for sale at the auto parts store before. Ive been lucky and been able to get an adjustable wrench on them on other cars.

Yep, one of those special OPS sockets are what works best, and they cost like $20. You might try a channel-lock wrench though - but don't round it or you're not gonna be happy. Put a little teflon tape on the new sender threads and don't torque it too tight.

i just used an open ended wrench to get it off....it was alittle difficult to get in there but that is what i did and it worked.......i do not remeber the size but it does need to be pretty deep socket........i think it was a maybe a 21m or 22mm

just use channel-locks, thats what I used and its easy. And remember to put thread tape on the sensor before you screw it in.

If it is an after market switch, the size is different from the dealer one. I used a deep socket. Take the switch to sears or autozone and buy the socket that fits it. It is not expensive.
