I recently participated in a little race on the highway with a very old school civic hatcback. However he kept pulling on me!!! When I finally figured how to keep my RPM's in a range to keep power to the wheels (duh, using my "power" button and using the manual shift) I could oly keep up with this guy. My point is that I thought driving an auto just involved flooring the gas pedal and holding on but I guess I was wrong. Unfortunately my car would shift into fifth and basically stop accelerating. Listening to this other guy's car, there must have been a turbo or s/c. All I thought after that was that I disgraced IS300's, and that I could have taken him in my max cuz I knew how to drive it fast!

Yer sig shows a 5spd? That'd imply manual .. as for the civic.. it could be a hybrid. (not a civic engine) You never know with h.a.h.a. cars..

Guys you should read more carefully. He was driving IS300 auto. Look in his sig and you'll see that he sold his 5-speed maxima.

I thought the IS300's were AutoMagic. You can tell it when to shift, am I wrong?
