headlight foggin up

obviously i know how to remedy the problem, however, I don't know how it started. oem, and never opened. only thing different about it are the overwatted nokya bulbs. just wanted to know if this happened to others, so that I can stop it from happening to my other housing.

is it fog or smoke? I have ce lights that I smoked even more on the inner housing, and when I put my Nokyas in, they were so much hotter than stock, they actually burnt some paint off a screw and filled my housing with smoke.. I pulled the bulb out and let the smoke out, and it never happened again..

I have condensation inside my headlights. I opened them to AE them a while back and the problem just started. Do I need to open them back up and reseal them?

That would be my guess. Use a belt and some clamps to make sure the seal is tight

Belt...good idea. I hate having to heat everything up with the gun. Is it easier in the oven?

Most of the guides on here follow the oven trick, so I'm assuming it's easier. I've only experimented with a heat gun on my VW GTI, and it was very time consuming.

Yeah it's def. a b**ch to do. I dont mind it too much but its just too time consuming. I'm gonna have to try and find the info about oven temp and all.
