Heres to the good times
Well guys, another tragedy for the 4th gens. mark it up.
Wednesday, the car started making very loud knokcing sounds, and the car lost oil pressure and threw the oil light. Engines pretty much toast. Its not worth getting pulled out, repaired and put back in. Getting a new engine dropped in will run me from 1050-1250, and junking it will throw me about 700 bucks. I havent fully decided yet, but I think those options will set me back to much money.
So heres the deal, Im thinking Ill just part the car out. I got a freinds dad who might sell me his 5 speed GXE.
So heres the deal. I got a GLE fully factory. If things work out, im looking to keep my honeycombs (since the gxe is on steelies) and the speakers (i like my bose) but everything else is up for grabs.
Itll take me a day or two to decide, but for future reference, my name is Robert and my number is 281 745 4240. I live in Houston, Texas. Ill post my final decision tomorrow most likely, you guys feel free to call and ask if I have what you want, and we can discuss price.
Info:
95 GLE auto
QN0 - pearl white
Tan interior
Leather seats
Front bumper is cracked and most likely useless unless you wanna test something on it before you apply it to your own front bumper, ill sell it for whatever I can get.
Back bumper has a few little red marks on it and a small hole, again, ill sell it for what I can get.
the connector rod is gone, but anything else you want off the engine is up for grabs.
Ultimately, just give me a call whether ive posted my decision or not. ill be glad to discuss parts and such with you.
Anyways, I hope even though ill lose my maxima, that it can be parted out for the good of others. It was a good car and I guess life just came to an end for it, as does all things. Really sucks. Im gonna miss it alot.

damn dude that sucks, my first Max was exactly like yours, only had it for 3 days though...
you will enjoy the 5spd though, trust me. both the 4th gens I had b4 the one I got now were auto, but I drove 200 miles to get my 5spd/blk int white 97 SE:so much more fun than autotradgic...
hope you can recoupe some $$$ from the dead one, good luck

Wow. How many miles did she have on her? I don't get it, I've seen a few VQs commit hari-kari over the past few weeks, I thought they were invincible... good luck with everything man, that really blows.

Anyways, yeah, I might keep the leather seats, I might not, you gotta realize, I need as much money as I can get. I dont have much to me, and my car was all I cared about really, and now that its gone, I gotta do what I can to get money back and get myself some transportation. Hopefully I can stay true to the maximas...so yeah.
