'96 Max vs. electic golf cart

So this guy at my school has an electric golf cart that he claims will kick my Maximas ***. My Max is stock. Do you think I stand a chance of beating him?

those electric golf carts have crazy HP and TQ, ur max will never stand a chance... the only way a Max can beat it is if it has turbo or nitro, perhaps both (if u want to burn him) but otherwise ur stock max won't stand a chance...

Once the golf cart hooks up, you're done.

Honestly, it depends on wheather the race takes place on the grass or a road.

Grass, the golf cart owns you.
Road, the max might hook up off the line, but like konak85 said, they have crazy top end and he'll pull on you.
