SS brake line help.

Alright I'm upgrading my brakes at the moment.

This should be the easiest part of the upgrade changing some damn lines out, but apparently this is not the case.

The part where the line connects to the nut on the inside of the fender well will not budge. I am using a crowfoot flare nut and all I am doing is stripping both nuts on each side in the front.

Anybody have suggestions to break these loose? PB blaster doesn't seem to be working. Looks like I may need to buy new nuts

I had the same issue and ended up taking it in to a shop and just had them install them. I figured, if I keep trying this, i'm going to end up rounding these things off and that would be a PITA.

Bump for better ideas.

Should have asked first. You need a flare wrench for those. If you used anything else and strip those nuts, you are pretty screwwed. See if you can use a lubricant and a pair of visegrips, and hopefully you can getting them off so you can replace deez nuts on them brake lines.

Replace the nuts? Umm, how can you do that? You will need to cut the flare off the line to get them off and then reflare it. On the front, it might be easier to replace the brake lines alltogether.

You need a flare nut wrench. One that grabs five out of six sides.
