I've been wondering the same thing myself. I know it's pretty buried. Perhaps it's an easy part to replace but I've never done it so a write up would be nice. Search turns up nothing.

it goes through the top of the rear valve cover. Just follow the tubing on the upper intake manifold. You will have to undo the bracket that holds the tubing.

As you can see if you scroll down a bit, it is very close to the TB. Good luck.

How did you finally manage to change the fuel filter? I've though about removing the top pipe and then dropping the filter down to remove the bottom one. I figure while the car is on a ramp getting the oil changed this would be the best way.

BTW: thanks for the info on the PCV, this is exactly what I needed.

the fuel filter i fine is pretty easy to remove..u dont need a ramp...just stand to the driver side of the car and take it out the holder, unscrew the top screw then unscrew the bottom and ur done...u will need to disable the fuel pump fuse tho

To elaborate more on the fuel filter:

1: Pull the Fuel Filter fuse
2: Start the car (it will die ... duh)
3: Start/Crank/Whatever about 3 more times (Ensure there is a minimum amount of fuel in the lines)
4: Open your gas cap (Relieves the backpressure in the lines)
5: Pull those cursed hoses out

There were many s**t's and f-bombs dropped when I changed mine. You can expect your hand to get a fair amount of gas on it when you are pulling the lines off.
