AC doesnt work so well

AC doesnt work so well

My AC doesnt work that well. The air is only slightly colder than just the fan alone. Do I maybe need to recharge it with new liquid or something? I know the actual unit still works because it does make a difference, but going into summer now, I wish it worked better!

get you R-34 freon level checked. Its warming up and after a long winter ya might need a recharge.

It's R-134a...You can get a recharge kit from autozone. Use the guage that comes with the kit to check the pressure first before adding the refrigerant. Otherwise if its not the freon level but a different problem you will have wasted a can of refrigerant.

I did mine a few weeks ago. Well worth the $30.
